Checking in from the Stanley Hotel, absolutely amazing weather in Estes Park this weekend. Caught this one last night(5-7-11) in Room 418 investigating with Adam, what do you think it says?

Here's one I got from the billiards room Friday night. To me it sounds like there is a response to the question of "9-ball".

I was there that Saturday night as well. It sounds to me like one of the participants whispering. It doesn't sound paranormal.

Another member of the Saturday night investigators told me a man in our group named Jim had a great EVP from room 217. It was the first group of the night and right after Ben turned his phone off and told the rest of us to turn ours off as well, you hear a voice on the tape say "asshole." Does anyone know Jim or have this EVP?

I don't, but I was in that group, so I'd love to hear it too. My sister is sending me a copy of her voice recorder, so I'll keep a look out for that EVP.

The second EVP is very interesting. I thought I heard the same voice while the speaker was talking.

This is from an EVP session in the library room of the manor house. I think there is a female voice towards the end that's saying "capture"?

I heard it and it sounds like a female saying capture, very faint.

Actually, that was me. The WAV is attached. After Ben says, "Um" there is a voice/breath underneath. Then when Ben finishes talking there's a quick soft voice that seems to say, "Asshole". Callie told me it could be a maintenance guy who shows up all around the hotel. He has a very unkind way of adressing Callie, too! There is another word or breath b4 this one but the file size is too large for this forum if I leave it in.
BTW, I caught several anomalies in 217 that night. I'll post more when it's not 1am & work is looming in 4 hours...yawn!

Here is the response to Ben's comment about cell phones. This is in 217, in close proximity timewise to the "a--hole" comment.

Still in 217, we heard a creaking sound in the area of the headboard of the bed. I was 0n the other side of the room & it was very faint to me, but I did hear it. Well, this is how that slight creak came across on the dvr...
Sorry it's an mp3, but the whole thing in WAV is over 7meg. I wanted to include the discussion afterwards so you could hear us speculating what the sound was. It is so much louder in the recording than I remember, it is remarkable.
Also, there is a whispered "No" right after Ben asks if that was someone (in the room). It wasn't tagged & I don't recall hearing that at the time but it could have been the lady sitting in front of the desk I was sitting behind. If anyone else from that time recalls this, please let me know.

Ok, now 2 more posts involving what seems to be echo or mimicking evps. The first has some discussion going on & one woman is handing something to someone & says, "Here". After a little more talk, a strange, metalic female voice says, "Here" again. Could be nothing but the voice sounds different than anything else I recorded that night. See what you think.

When Ben first got to 217, we were already there. He asked if we had done an EMF sweep of the room & I told him, "No,we just got here." A little while later, Ben was working with the flashlights when a faint whisper repeats, "just got here".

This is a very odd one. There is chatter going on & a monotone voice says something in a very rythmic way. It almost sounds like chanting but in a very deadpan way. Ben stops talking, a female in the room kinda giggles then there's a short pause & the cadence voice begins. Ben talks again over the tail end of the (?)EVP(?).
