Before I become an oldie, as opposed to a neubie, I would like to know if theres a particular place to post your "experiences". I am handicapped, so I dont travel, and would like to share and compare some of my unusual events. I am a long time believer in the paranormal, but seldom (other than my daughter) have anyone to discuss things with. (experiences etc) thanks marg .

I had an experience when I rented a 2 roommed flat in an old house built in the 19th century. It consisted of a kitchen and a bedsitting room with a sliding door between. One weekend my brother came to stay and slept on top of my double bed in a sleeping bag. During the dead of the night I was woken by the feeling of someone coming into the room. I woke and saw a shadow man float through the door. It floated to the end of the bed and bent right over as if to see who was in the bed. I thought it was my brother going to the loo so I asked him and he said no I'm here from on top of the bed. Well what's that I said and yelled out. As I did so it disappeared. My brother also saw it. I spent the next night at a friends and wouldn't sleep there without a light on in the kitchen and the door open again. My one friend had a colleague who loved there in his childhood and he said he had seen it too. I went to the library to see who was the first owner of the house and it was a chimney sweep. I thought he was black because he was a chimney sweep but TAPS have educated me and now I realise it was a shadow man. One of my friends is very religious and got her vicar in to see me. He had had experience of these things before and he said he took them seriously. He lookede in the place I'd seen the shadowman come through the door and asked where I'd seen it and I said right there. I'm sure he had the gift. I moved out of that place as soon as possible.
