I recently attended an event with Chip Coffey in Denver and during the event he talked about the Stanley Hotel and how much he always enjoys going there to investigate. Anyway he mentioned that there was an event coming up next April and that if we were interested in this type of thing it would be a great event to attend. He also mentioned that some of the TAPS members (Jason, Amy, and Britt) as well as some of the Fact or Faked people plus himself would also be there. I went out to the website to check it out and found it very interesting and something I want to persue. My question is how many people do they typically allow in events like this? I am very interested in going but since I have never been before I do not know what to expect.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question.

Steve,
I attended the Stanley event earlier this year and it was great. It was my first time to the Stanley, though I have been to many of the events they hold at the Mount Washington Hotel in NH....actually just got back from the latest that was this weekend.
The Stanley event was very well organized and the group itself was around 60 or 70 people. Which believe it or not is a small group when its broken down into the groups to investigate. Compared to the very first event they held at the Mount Washington that was around 500 people or so.
The smaller group allows for a lot more chances for the guests to interact and talk with the TAPS/Fact or Faked gang. Plus it allows smaller groups in each room when investigating.
The lectures are great for learning about the field and the members present.
I strongly suggest going if you can make it. I think you will have a really good time if you do.
I myself will be at the Stanley event in April as well.
Hope this helped but if you want, Id be happy to answer any questions you may have if I can.
